Do suffer from allergic rhinitis -seasonal allergies or dust allergies?
Constant runny nose, sneezing all the time, going through tissues like there’s no tomorrow?
I know all about this too well as my boyfriend has a dust allergy, and despite serious washing, cleaning and investment into hypoallergenic bedding, it just wouldn’t go away.
Nettle
But don’t worry, our friend nettle is here to save the day.
Nettle is a natural anti-histamine and is one of the best natural allergy relief remedies.
All you need to do is make a tea from fresh or dried nettle leaves and aim for 3 cups per day.
It works in about 30 minutes and even better than the antihistamines my boyfriend was taking from the pharmacy. Herbal medicine, you’ve done it again!
Nettle is such a great herb and it’s not just for allergies, it is also a blood cleansing depurative and is incredibly nutritious. Want some nettle recipes? Try my Nettle and wild garlic hummus or Green wilderness smoothie.
Have you tried nettle before? Let me know in the comments.
